CONSULTANT ARCHITECT TO THE COMMUNITY GROUP | FEASIBILITY CONCEPT AND ADVOCACY

 

Robert Harwood Architects provided a consultant role in advocating design and layout requirements for the Beaumaris Arts Group when liaising with Bayside Council for the redevelopment of their building. 

 

Concept drawings included the proposal to retain the existing structure and add to it sympathetically, including a new gallery space fronting Reserve Rd. The Council initially intended to demolish the building. These concepts were eventually adopted permitting the retention and re-use of this significant mid century modern building.
